Bernard has spent his entire life obsessively searching for the priceless works of art stolen by the Nazis from his family home in Holland in 1941. He hopes that each piece of retrieved art will bring him closer to the family and history he lost in the Holocaust, but sixty years on the nightmare remains the same.
